Cacotecnia (2013)

As a robotic music box ballerina, Caco has dysfunctional behavior that does not represent the best human qualities or the finest machinist qualities. The ballerina sleeps much of the time and with his lack of resourcefulness, is timid about the audience.

The robot Caco could gaze at participants, moving its head and eyes, and simulate different intensities of breathing, to impart emotional responses and agency into the machine.

This project was a collaborative effort  between the Faculty of Arts with the Institute of Technology of Universidade de Brasilia (UnB)
